Apple iLife'09 Up To Date DVD


This is a untouched DMG ripped from the official "Up To Date" that Apple offer to customers that purchased a Mac computer after iLife'09 was announced. 

It installs all the new programs and everything seems to work as expected!

I ripped the image using Toast 10 and then converted to DMG, I have installed this on a Aluminium iMac and Unibody MacBook with no issues.

Some may have concerns that this is an update disk however previous versions of iLife do NOT have to be installed and this works for a clean install.

You must be running OS X 10.5.6 for this to install.

I have 1Mb/s upload and will be seeding until a good number of seeds are available, so please don't hit and run and help seed!  :)

FOR PEOPLE WHO ALREADY HAVE THE DVD:

1.) Pop the single-user iLife '09 DVD into your drive
2.) Open Disk Utility
3.) Select the iLife disc in the source list
4.) File > New > Disk Image from [your DVD drive; bottom option]
5.) Choose where to save it, then start the copy. This will take 20-30 minutes
6.) Once it's done, open this torrent and tell it to save in the same spot as the iLife DMG. Make sure it has the same filename: iLife '09 Install DVD.dmg
7.) That should do it. It'll verify that your DMG is the same as mine and start seeding.

use this instructions:

it means your partition format is set to "FAT32". this type of filesystem cannot accept any single file (1 file) larger than 4gb
you can solve this problem if you change the format of your partition to NTFS (if you're on Windows) or HFS+ (Mac OS X Journaled if you're on OS X)

The only way anyone can help the other torrent is to have that torrent fully downloaded, and no one seems to have that.

It doesn't hurt anything to have two torrents with almost no seeders.

This torrent is a lot better than the older one! (iLife '09 Install DVD.dmg). When I tried to download previous one I had checksum errors all the time. This one though, looks perfect.

You can burn it on single layer DVD. Only instead of burning it From the image, copy the image Itself on DVD, as a file.
It wouldn't look as good, because you will need to mount the image everytime. But hey, how many you're going to use it?

Started it midnight last night and it was done by the time I got up this morning. Burned to single-layer DVD fine and installed without any issues replacing iLife '08.

was dl'ing this for a day or so, speed was roughly 30kB/s when i looked occasionally, read reports that some dl'd in a few hours and others a week or so.

in VUZE i tried the Tools, NAT/Firewall test - this gave some errors so i decided to find the correct port forwarding settings and see if anything changed.

find your router here and click the application your using to get the right settings: http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm

after changing the settings all is well, the test ran again and came back with OK immediately...after restarting VUZE, not my computer.

dl'ing now at around 200-300kB/s and it should be down in a couple hours.
